The Yerba Buena Gardens can expect a wee bit more of a buzz on July 17th than it ordinarily entertains on a Sunday afternoon.
But the mystery has been solved, folks. All clues point to a mighty suspiciously fun sounding Yerba Buena Art and Makers Market.
Local artistes— those veritable savants of crafting— will gather on Mission St. betwixt 3rd and 4th Streets to sell their original wares.
Not only are we talkin’ bout one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry, ceramics, and other art crafts that are free for the purchase, but live music by the dynamic deux, the Bob and Lenny Show will get the crowds a groovin’ to boot— LoCura, a 7-piece band with a soulful Latin sound will also contribute to the event’s effervescent soundscape.
And to make matters even more opportune—it’s soon gonna dawn… on the lawn! Lawn Bowling time! Gotta chuck the hearty lawn bowler’s salute to recognize the one and only Yerba Buena Bowl, who is the angel behind the grassy gains the bowl shall bring.
