Sunday, Oct. 30th will find the Kapwa Gardens on Mission St. (between 5th and 6th) alive with Balay Kreative’s All Souls Day: An Afterlife Celebration.
All Souls’ Day is a tradition in the Philippines that honors the deceased. From 1:00 – 6 p.m., join the festivities with storytelling through music and visual art with Balay Kreative, an arts incubator generating an artistic community that celebrates PhlipinX-American resilience and culture located right smack dab in the Yerba Buena Gardens district.
Cece Carpio and TITTY BOY present works of visual art alongside emcee jammin’ by love/speak, and performances by musical acts Kulintang Dialect, Nikbo, and Astralogik.
