The Museum of the African Diaspora tempts you with a feast for the eyes, ears, and soul on Tuesday, Feb. 22.
From 2:00-3:15, MoAD docents host Art As We See It: Folk Art & Music, a video conference about traditional art and music that is far from stale.
In this installation of the program, bluesy folk tunes underscore a selection of folkloric art pieces curated from publicly accessible archives. Docents hold the space for rich and unpretentious conversation about how and why the artwork and music pairings resonate emotionally.
